The United Nations

After the Second World War, the victors decided to create a world organization that would prevent the emergence of new conflicts and contribute to building a better world. This new organization, the United Nations (UN) was founded in 1945. The UN Charter sets out the goals of the Organization, among others maintain peace, protect human rights, promote justice and respect for the law of treaties and other sources of international law, promote social progress and better standards of life for all.

بعد الحرب العالمية الثانية ، قرر المنتصرون إنشاء منظمة عالمية من شأنها أن تحول دون ظهور صراعات جديدة وتساهم في بناء عالم أفضل. تأسست هذه المنظمة الجديدة عام 1945 و يحدد ميثاقها أهداف المنظمة التي من بينها الحفاظ على السلام وحماية حقوق الإنسان وتعزيز العدالة واحترام القانون والمعاهدات وغيرها من مصادر القانون الدولي، وتعزيز التقدم الاجتماعي وتحسين مستويات المعيشة للجميع.

Après la Deuxième Guerre mondiale, les pays vainqueurs ont décidé de créer une organisation mondiale qui préviendrait l’apparition de nouveaux conflits et contribuerait à l’avènement d’un monde meilleur. Cette nouvelle organisation, l’Organisation des Nations Unies (ONU) a été fondée en 1945. Sa Charte énonce les buts de l'Organisation dont le maintien de la paix, protéger les droits de l'homme, promouvoir la justice et le respect pour le droit des traités et autres sources du droit international, promouvoir le progrès social et instaurer de meilleures conditions de vie pour tous..
